v911 Pro Brushless

Just stuck a brushless motor into the v911 pro frame.

Flights felt underpowered. I think it will need a larger pinion. I didn’t play with it too much so I can’t tell if we can get the v911 to actually fly better. Additionally, you’ll need to reinforce the main frame after cutting away the vertical struts to make room for the brushless motor.

How did you do this? Did you add separate brushless esc from another heli? I can’t see how this will work with stock rx.

I just flash an XP3a. Just like for MSR X conversion. I have created post on how to flash the XP3a ESC with BLHeli code before.

I’m trying to use a MX – 3A that I bought from hobbyking. It states it will process PWM as well as PPM signal although cant get this to work. I connected the signal to the negative from the receiver board.. You think this is correct? Please help!

You’ll have to flash with the BLHeli firmware first. And that can be a learning experience.
